Family Alert Relay Tier 1

For families who already have a home monitoring camera or motion system and just need reliable, quiet, family-aware text alerts when something happens.

Bedroom Safety Monitoring Tier 2 — most popular

Our flagship service. We install a small set of bedroom sensors and run them around the clock with computer-vision-assisted review. Designed for families managing moderate-to-advanced dementia.

  • Bedroom occupancy and bed-exit detection
  • Bedroom door and hallway motion sensing
  • Discreet IR camera for nighttime fall and unusual-stillness detection — video stays on the home network and is never streamed to the cloud
  • Bathroom presence sensor (motion-only, no camera)
  • Three-tier alert system: silent log, family text, escalate-and-call
  • Monthly review call with a Ruby House team member to tune sensitivity
  • Local installation in select areas; otherwise shipped with phone-guided setup

Whole-Home Coverage Tier 3

For families with a loved one who has been known to wander beyond the bedroom, or for households where a paid caregiver rotates with family.

  • Everything in Tier 2
  • Living room, kitchen, and exit-door sensors
  • Caregiver shift tracking — system knows when a paid caregiver is on duty and adjusts alert routing accordingly
  • Voice intercom on Echo or Google Home speakers throughout the house
  • Integration with smart locks, smart lighting, and existing home automation
  • Quarterly on-site review (within service area) or video review (elsewhere)

What is included with every service

No cameras pointed at sleeping faces

Our default bedroom configuration uses ceiling-mounted overhead views, not bedside cameras. Some families opt for no bedroom camera at all — sensors only.

Caregiver-only access

The family decides who can see live or recorded video, who can see only alerts, and who is fully excluded. We support multi-tier permissions out of the box.

Twelve-month satisfaction window

If at any point in the first year you decide Ruby House Alerts isn't right for your family, we will refund the unused portion of any pre-paid plan.

End-of-life support

When a loved one passes, we help the family wind down the system with dignity — no auto-renewal traps, no lengthy phone trees.
