Ruby House Alerts is a Detroit-based safety notification service operated by Ilan Rubinfeld. We send automated SMS, WhatsApp, voice, and push messages solely for the purpose of elder-care safety alerts to designated family members and caregivers.

2. What Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to deliver safety alerts:

Phone numbers of opted-in recipients, first names for message personalization, and preferred contact method (SMS, WhatsApp, voice call, or push notification). We do not collect browsing data, location data, financial information, or any data from minors.

3. How We Use Your Information

Phone numbers and names are used exclusively to send safety-related alerts (fall detection, wandering detection, egress events) and nightly status summaries for the elder family member we monitor. We do not use your information for marketing, advertising, analytics, or any purpose other than safety notifications.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties. Phone numbers are shared only with our messaging providers (Twilio, TextMagic) for the sole purpose of delivering alert messages. 5. Data Storage and Security

Recipient information is stored locally on private, encrypted hardware within our home network. No data is stored in public cloud databases. Access is restricted to the system administrator (Ilan Rubinfeld).

6. Data Retention

Contact information is retained only while a recipient is actively designated as a caregiver or family contact. When a recipient is removed from the alert roster, their information is deleted immediately.

7. Your Rights

You may request to view, update, or delete your information at any time by contacting us. You may opt out of messages at any time by replying STOP to any message or by contacting us directly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as needed. Recipients will be notified of material changes via their registered contact method.
